Claremont School is a small, private elementary school dedicated to teaching students with dyslexia from Grades 2 – 8.
Our program has an intensive Language and Math focus.

Our Early Elementary First Steps Program is open to all children SK – Gr 2 who want a strong start to elementary school. We teach Structured Literacy, which is an Orton-Gillingham Approach incorporating:

Phonics

Phonological Awareness

Letter Formation

Reading

Spelling

Writing

Claremont School has a proven track record in English language education. We use traditional and innovative tools to ensure our graduates are well-prepared for high school and beyond.

Kindergarten Structured Literacy class graduation

Claremont School is proud to announce the graduation of our first Kindergarten Structured Literacy class! Our students successfully learned to read and write and are all set for Grade 1.

New Claremont School Program:

First Steps

Claremont launched an Orton-Gillingham Kindergarten Program with a small group class size for children aged 4 to 5 years.

First Steps has an early literacy and numeracy focus, which teaches phonological awareness, sound segmentation and alphabet knowledge. Students read, create, write and count – laying strong foundations for Grade 1.
